All your subscription information, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your information.
What You Store Locally (We Never See This):
- Subscription details (names, costs, dates, categories) - stored in local database
- Custom images/icons - stored in your device's internal storage
- Telegram credentials (bot token, chat ID) - stored locally if you enable notifications
- Preferences (display currency, notification settings) - stored locally
- All financial data - never leaves your device

100% Local Storage
All your data is stored on your device using Android's secure local storage:
- Room Database: Your subscriptions are stored in a local SQLite database
- Encrypted Preferences: Sensitive settings use Android's DataStore
- Internal Storage: Custom images are saved in app-specific directories
What Happens When You Uninstall?
When you uninstall SubTracker, all your data is permanently deleted from your device. We have no backup of your information because we never collected it.
🌐 What Data Is Shared (Minimal)
The only data that leaves your device is:
1. Google Play Services (Crash Reports)
- What's shared: Anonymous crash logs and error reports
- Purpose: Help us fix bugs and improve app stability
- Personal data: None - no subscription details, no financial info
- Privacy Policy: Google's Privacy Policy
2. Exchange Rate API (Currency Conversion)
- What's shared: Only currency codes (e.g., "USD", "EUR")
- Purpose: Fetch live exchange rates for currency conversion
- Personal data: None - no subscription costs or details are sent
- Service: exchangerate-api.com
3. Telegram API (Optional Notifications)
- What's shared: Only if YOU enable it: your bot token and chat ID
- Purpose: Send you billing reminders via Telegram
- Personal data: Only what you explicitly configure
- Privacy Policy: Telegram's Privacy Policy
🚫 What We NEVER Share:
- Your subscription names, costs, or dates
- Your financial information
- Your custom images or icons
- Your location or personal identifiers
- Your contacts or address book
🔔 Notifications
SubTracker can send local notifications for:
- Upcoming bill reminders (stored and triggered locally)
- Optional Telegram messages (only if you enable this feature)
You can disable all notifications at any time in your device settings or within the app.
👶 Children's Privacy
SubTracker is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since we don't collect data anyway, there's nothing to delete if we accidentally receive it.
🔐 Your Rights
Since your data is stored locally, you have complete control:
- Access: All your data is visible within the app
- Edit: You can modify any subscription at any time
- Delete: Remove individual subscriptions or uninstall the app
- Export: Your data stays on your device - you control it completely
